where are they going?

this painting makes me so happy. some of you have been emailing to ask what medium I use and how I choose my colors. I use different kinds of medium, but mostly I paint with acrylics. I like the way they dry so quickly and I can use layers of color. color selection is never planned, I just go with what I think feels good with the design, color is very instinctive and inspired. this illustration is inspired by a book that I wrote while I was studying an illustration and design degree. one day I will get around to getting the book published. can you tell I love to paint animals, especially elephants and owls!!
